3rd International Workshop on Economic Complexity and Macroeconomic Dynamics

October 7th – 8th, 2026

The Universidad San Francisco de Quito (USFQ), the Jaume I University and the University of Bamberg are pleased to host the 3rd International Workshop on Economic Complexity and Macroeconomic Dynamics at the University Jaume I in Castellón, Spain, on October 7th-8th, 2026.

We particularly encourage submissions of new work on the following topics:

  • Economic complexity in macroeconomics and finance
  • Agent-based macroeconomics and financial models
  • Network models in climate policy, economics, and finance.
Paper Submission

Prospective speakers should submit a PDF file of their paper or an extended abstract of around one page to

complexitymacro.workshop@gmail.com  

by July 15, 2026, at the latest. Graduate students (M.Sc. or PhD) are invited to indicate their interest in participating in a poster session. Acceptance notifications will be sent by mid-August 2025. The conference fee is 150€ (waived for all undergraduate and PhD students).
